CCR #4

How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware, and online platforms – in this project?

CCR #4: Hello, my name is Ryan Jurdi, and this is my answer to CCR #4 and to be creative with this CCR I will be explaining and showcasing the technology I used while talking about them. So, how did I integrate technology, whether it's software or hardware? Well, the first piece of technology that I integrated was my old iPhone 7 (showcase it). The backstory behind it is, in the scene where Bruno was singing about not picking up the phone, I had to come up a way to visualize this and that's where my iPhone 7 comes in. I was already recording with my own phone, and I did not have another group member I had to find and dig out my old phone. This idea was a home run since it perfectly visualized what I was striving for. Another piece of technology that played a slightly more minor role in my music video was the TV remote. I had to use it for the scene where Bruno was singing about turning the TV on. I also utilized it for the scene right after where I was on the couch under a blanket. Another piece of technology that I used for my music video project was my computer. The two biggest ways my computer helped me complete this project throughout the entire process was doing research on my chosen song or working on my blog on my computer. One way it aided me in my research was through the ease of surfing the internet for information. For example, what the genre The Lazy Song was in. Another way it aided in my research was the ease of analyzing the song’s music video since doing it on a small screen like my phone would have been a more difficult task. Speaking of the difficulty of small screens, my computer also helped me complete my blog instead of trying to work on my phone, which again probably would have been too great of a task. A third piece of technology that I integrated to help me complete my project is Cap Cut. I used it for editing like trimming unwanted scenes or even adding things like video effects.

CCR #1:  How does your product use or challenge conventions, and how does it represent social groups or issues?
